Membership

I have family and friends that want to join, do you offer referral credits?

Yes, you will receive a $100 Oxford Gift Card for an individual membership and a $200 Oxford Gift Card for a family membership.

What is the guest policy?

Oxford Athletic Club is a member-only facility; however, we invite guests to learn more about us. All guests receive one complimentary visit.

  • Adult Guest: Complete a guest waiver at the front desk and provide us with a photo ID. NO ID, NO ENTRY.
  • Child Guest: The parent of the guest (child) must sign the guest waiver and provide us with a copy of their photo ID prior to using the facility. Advanced registration is optional but encouraged.
  • Out of Town Guest: Contact our Membership Team for extended guest passes. Membership@oxfordathleticclub.com
How can I freeze my membership?

Email memberservices@oxfordathleticclub.com to put your membership on freeze. Your membership can be frozen for 3 months in a calendar year. If the hold is for a medical reason, the maximum amount of time is 6 months in a calendar year upon receiving a doctor’s note.

How do I cancel my membership?

Please contact memberservices@oxfordathleticclub.com to request a cancellation form.

How do I make changes to my membership?
  • Membership change forms can be completed at the front desk.
  • If a request for a member to be removed is received after the 1st of the month, you will be charged the full rate for that month and the member will be canceled on the last day of the month.
I received a membership credit. How can I use it?

The membership credit is a physical card you can pick up at the front desk. Members can use it for personal training, massage, private tennis or swim lessons, additional class fees, tennis court fees, kids programming, and in the Market Café. The expiration date will be noted on the sleeve of the card.

Billing

Is the monthly membership payment automatic?

Yes, the monthly fee is deducted automatically on the 9th of every month.

What are my payment options for my monthly fee?

Members can add a credit card or checking account.

Who do I contact if I have questions regarding my bill?

You can contact 724-933-1911 extension 4103 or email memberservices@oxfordathleticclub.com to discuss billing information.

Personal Training

Does every member get a free fitness assessment and complementary personal training session?

Yes,  please contact the Personal training department by phone at 724-933-1911  ext. 4142 or email info@oxfordathleticclub.com.

How do I cancel a personal training session?

Contact the personal trainer 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.

How can my teenage child use the fitness floor without me?

Children under the age of 15 are NOT permitted to be on the fitness floor cardio equipment/weight areas or utilize adult fitness equipment. The only exceptions to this policy are those youth that is working directly with a personal trainer or has completed the Junior Certification program. 

The free-weight area of the fitness floor is only for individuals ages 18 and up unless they are accompanied by a coach or personal trainer.

Aquatics

What is the temperature of the pool?

The pool temperature is kept at 84 degrees.

How long is the indoor and outdoor pool?

The indoor pool is 25 yards and the outdoor pool is 25 meters.

Are lap lane reservations required?

Nope! Lap lane reservations are not required.

How do I make lane reservations?

Using the app, go to "Aquatics" and select the time you'd like to make the reservation. Make sure to confirm the time.

How do I cancel a lane reservation?

Using the app, go to “My Reservations”. The lane reservation can be canceled by clicking the red trash can.

Does Oxford offer swim lessons?

Yes, we do! We offer 1-on-1 private swim lessons for all ages and swimming abilities. We do not offer group lessons. Please email the Aquatics Manager for more information.

What is the age requirement for the Hot Tub?

Members 14 and above are permitted to use the hot tub.

Racquet Sports

How do I make a court reservation for tennis, pickleball, squash, or racquetball?

Visit the OAC app, tap on “explore”, and select "reservations."

How do I book a clinic?

Visit the OAC app, click “activities” and select tennis. Select the court from the drop-down menu and choose your clinic.

How do I reserve a ball machine?

While using the OAC app to reserve a court, you will find an option to reserve a ball machine. Toggle the "Ball Machine" button to "Yes" to include a machine in your reservation. 

How do I register for Junior Development and what is the cost?

All clinics are billed in full after attending the first class and you are locked in for the entire season. No refunds.

Rate - $25/hour

How much is it to rent a tennis court?

Indoor $14/hour
Outdoor $10/hour

Group Fitness

How far in advance can I register for classes?

Classes can be reserved 22 hours in advance.

Aerial Yoga can be reserved 3 days in advance.

Is there a class cancellation or late fee?

Cancel at least 2 hours in advance to avoid a late $10 cancellation fee.

What level of fitness classes are offered?

Most classes are for all fitness levels. Arrive 5-10 minutes early to let the instructor know that you are new and that they can provide safe modifications if needed for most exercises.

What is the minimum age requirement for group fitness classes?

You must be 15 years old to attend a fitness class.

Youth ages 12-14 with a parent can participate in the following classes: Zumba, Dance Sweat, Body Combat, Yoga, Aerial Yoga, Ride, and Trip

What family classes are offered?

Boxing for ages 8 and up

Family Yoga for ages 7 and up

Youth dance classes for 4-7 years

Boppin Tots ages 18 months -3 years with a parent

What equipment is needed for the classes?

Boxing classes require boxing gloves.

What happens if I'm late to class?

If you have a reservation for class but arrive late, your reservation could be forfeited for the next member on the waitlist.

KidZone

Are childcare appointments required?

Yes, an appointment must be made in advance. Reservations can be made 24 hours in advance. Drop-offs are prohibited.

What is the maximum amount of time a child can use the KidZone?

Children 18 months and above can utilize the KidZone 2 hours per day, while babies (ages 3 months – 18 months) are permitted 1.5 hours per day.

What is the age requirement for the KidZone?

We invite children ages 3 months to 13 years to use the KidZone.

Are guests allowed in the Kid Zone?

Yes, guests are allowed in the KidZone after registering with the front desk. The guest fee for the KidZone is $10.

Summer Camp

What are the ages of campers in summer camp?

Ages 4-12

4/5-year-olds can register for a half-day camp (9:00 am-12:00 pm)

6+-year-olds can register for a full-day camp (9:00 am-3:00 pm)

Where can I find the camp schedule?

Go to https://oacsummercamp.com/locations/oxford/ for the weekly schedule.

How can I register for camp?

There is a link on the https://oacsummercamp.com/ website for registrations.

Why don't I see all the camps listed when I try to register?

Many camps are already completely full.  Email camp@oxfordathleticclub.com to get on the waitlist.

Massage Therapy

What type of massage should I schedule?

If you prefer deep pressure, an orthopedic massage is the best option. For relaxation, a Swedish session would be a good choice. Sports massage includes both deep tissue and stretching for the recovery of athletes.

How do I schedule a massage session?

How do I tip my massage therapist?

Massage therapists at OAC can accept cash tips only.

What is the cancellation policy?

If for some reason you need to reschedule, please note that we have a 12-hour cancellation policy. Please note you will be charged the full amount of the service if you cancel or reschedule after this time frame.

Market Cafe

Are Gluten Free, Vegetarian, and Vegan options available?

Yes, available upon request!

Can I order my meal ahead of time?

Absolutely! Stop by our Market Café prior to your workout to order. We will have your meal available at your preferred time.
